Rescue Me ID: 11-12-22-00029Chi Chi (female)

Japanese Chin    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

My dog Chi Chi is an amazing little dog. I rescued her from a home where there were children that most likely teased her and it seems like she may have been verbally abused there as well. She loves me and one other person, but she does not warm up to most people. I need to find her a quiet home, preferably a home of a single woman that doesn't have much company and is home a lot. Must have a fenced yard, because she does not do well on a leash. If she like you, she will love you unconditionally, if she doesn't like you she will hide and act very scared. I need to find the perfect fit for her and will be very selective. I have a great ... (Read More)home for her now where she is very happy and I am in no hurry to place her. I just can't ever leave for a vacation, or go home for holidays to see my family because I don't know what I would do with her. Since she is very selective with who she decides to like, I just can't have anyone watch her if I travel and I refuse to put her in a kennel. I think that would push her over the edge and I couldnt imagine her in a cage... that would kill me. I am looking forward to doing lots of traveling in the summer and possibly relocating very soon. I don't think she will travel well and I just think she needs more stability in her life. She sleeps in bed with me every night and gives so much love... You must be the right person to be abale to see this though. She is so sweet and would make someone very happy. She loves other small dogs but not big dogs. She plays well with small dogs and she is very entertaining to watch. I love her very much and I will be very picky with who I let take her. She is pure bred and I have papers. She is current on all shots and has recently been to the vet for a check up. The only issues that she has is that she has to be on special food due to her digestive system. She has a very sensitive stomach, but with this food she is perfect. I get it from my vet (Hills Prescription ID) She cannot have table scraps as they will make her very sick... Same with regular over the counter dog foods. Call me or email me if you would like to set up a meeting. Thank you. (Less)
