The Japanese Chin is the favored dog of Japanese royalty. Japanese Chin were presented to Japanese Empresses as long ago as the sixth century. Japanese Chin, along with the Chihuahua and Pekingese, trace their origins to a species of dog that existed in Tibet around 8000 B.C.! Some Japanese Chin like to sing.
